33,333 View Kiriban/Post Anime North/Otakon

I should probably stop writing journals every time I hit a page-view milestone, but I thought this one was kinda cool, Just about 2 months ago I was at 15k... and now 30,000.

Wow.

At this rate, I'll just keep churning out the cosplays since y'all seem to like them so much! Thanks again.

I was planning on doing a cosplay kiriban for 30K, but since that just ran away, I thought I'd advertise early and do it for viewcount 33,333. Here's how these things work: the first person who sends me a screenshot of hitting the 33,333 pageview on my page will get a personalized cosplay photo of his or her choosing.
You got to pick the costume, the scenario, whatever! Just... keep it PG. If your grandma would blush as the idea in your head, pick another one. You can pick from the following costumes:

Nami, Lucy Heartfilia, Boa Hancock, Rei Miyamoto, Sakura Haruno, Ami, Mikuru, or Bellatrix (Satella still needs some work). Send me a note with the screenshot and I'll try to have the picture up for you ASAP!

...I kinda forgot to update this thing after Anime North (whoops... it might have had something to do with my premium running out and my love for pretty journals XD). So, a month later, here ya go!
I had copious amounts of fun! AN was such a great con, and BOY was it huge! Everything was outside, and it managed to be pretty nice the entire weekend.

I mostly wore Nami and Lucy, because they were the most heat-proof cosplays I had. As sunny and beautiful as it was, it was HOT! I ended up pulling together a closet cosplay of Pepper Potts (the comic version) to walk around with PantySchatz in Black Widow which was really fun. I did a shoot with LiquidCocaine-Photos (if she's at a con near you, book her! She's a wonderful photographer, and is super nice!), which I'm slowly uploading  Kawazu13 and I also got pictures as Takashi and Rei, which I should be getting back eventually (I had far too much fun with those ice cream trucks... ). I got to meet some wonderful One Piece and Fairy Tail cosplayers (who are featured below), and hang out with wonderful friends.

Now that I'm done with the old business... New business!

So, it's pretty much official! Otakon 2012 is finally a go, after years of SkylitEyed and I wishing and hoping and praying that we could finally make the voyage to Baltimore. What's even more exciting is that we get to drag along someone who's pretty new to cons and go visit our very good friend who we haven't seen in way too long, all the while attending one of the biggest conventions in the US (so both girls are getting stuffed in cosplay. No exceptions). To say I'm crazy amounts of excited is an understatement.

Specifically for this con, I'll be making Mami Tomoe from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, to join SkylitEyed as Madoka and Tara as Homura (and we'll fight to the death for the affections of the beautiful Madoka. I'll try not to lose my head ). I haven't quite gotten started yet, aside from ordering a wig, but it should be a very good learning experience, with corsetry and such.

I'll also be bringing along Lucy, Boa, and Nami (with a belt this time!) to wear with the beautiful PantySchatz as Juvia, Alvida, and Robin. We'll be getting pictures to document our take-over of the con as the most beautiful women in the world (and no, Tashigi, you don't count!), which will be quite a fun time. Mikuru will also be most likely making an appearance with the other two ladies of the SOS Brigade (I would be nowhere without SkylitEyed as Haruhi and Tara as Yuki), and possibly Ami (I'm a little worried about taking that wig on an airplane). It should be lots of fun!
