Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Out of curiosity, Did you ever attempted any League of Legends cosplays? You would make a very cool Ahri cosplayer or Riven!

I started playing League a little while ago, but I'm pretty much horrible at it. Riven is probably one of my favorites, although I also love Miss Fortune's Waterloo skin. A lot of my friends have plans to cosplay from it, so we'll see!

Horrible is a hard word on you really, recent players will lose due to the lack of form of strategy in the beginning but develop in a month through constant play! I for one, sucked at one point then now am the town's strongest tank.

You need to find your talent there is all. I hope one of your friends cosplay as either Darius, Volibear (the armored bear) or Rammus (an armadillo) and I'm sold! :'D Though what I see in your ability is Riven, Miss Fortune, Ahri and Lux!

ah you still did good. as long as we can understand what you are saying, that's all that matters, right? haha. but If it really bothers you, you could maybe try having everything you want to say down on paper/notes first and using it as an aid for when you get stuck. it might help?

I wish I could go to Katsucon as well, but scheduling can be a pain... not to mention traveling expenses (I'm from Montreal, Canada)
