At Otakon I was finally able to get some more pictures of Nami with the terrific *ckdecember, although I didn't wear her much during the weekend (even though I'm sure it would have been more suited for the Baltimore heat). And of course, with it being One Piece, I just had to get some pictures by the water and boats that were docked in the bay. I always love cosplaying Nami and meeting One Piece fans and cosplayers, so wearing her and Boa were a treat as always.
The wig is a Luthien in Pumpkin Orange from Arda Wigs (all I did was style the bangs), and the top is from Tilly's (although the color I bought it in is no longer available), with the designs added by me. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! --------------------------------------------------------------- Nami - Photo by the wonderful
DISCLAIMER: Yes, my chest is indeed on the bigger side; I don't need to be reminded or informed of this (so please, don't just comment for the sole sake of telling me). And while I, like every girl, likes to be told I'm attractive, constantly commenting about how sexy I look gets old. Constructive critiques and compliments are the things I like to see. I'm sure this probably gets annoying to see on all of my stuff, for which I apologize. Thanks for reading this.
I'm sorry to bring up your chest. I'm not trying to be rude, but I am a man and we do notice. All I want to say is that I the Nami costume just isn't that complex. It's nice that you are able to pull the look off because Nami's chest, "is indeed on the bigger side" as well. Otherwise you wouldn't like as much like her. I've seen other cosplay girls try to be Nami (and other bigger chested characters) and not look the part because not many girls have enough on top. I appreciate that out of almost all of your other costumes you wouldn't really be able to tell as much what your physique might be. It's more about the clothes and the wigs and most importantly the details! It's rare to see women as physically attractive as you into anime cosplay at all, (especially such relatively obscure anime) and even more rare to see a woman show integrity about not flaunting it too much when she is "on the bigger side." So I'm just saying I appreciate a rare gem of a model when I see one.
It's awesome that you have the option play a bigger chested character (because there tend to be a lot of them) but it's obviously not about your chest with you. Keep up the good work and keep up the integrity. :0)
You and your photographer found a nice place to take the pic. Reminds me a real life drawing of the master Oda, like the ones he usually puts on the beginning of the episodes.
Sorry. I'm a local boy. If I can spot you at Otakon this year, my wife and I would love a picture.
