Mami Tomoe - Puella Magi Madoka Magica (I'm entering this cosplay into ACParadise's cosplay contest for Mami, and I would super duper appreciate it if you would vote for me. Link will be posted when it begins.) This is my favorite costume. No exceptions. I am so proud of all the work that went into this cosplay, and Mami is best Meguca. Being a part of a Madoka group with the amazing ~SkylitEyed and Tara was so much fun, especially for Otakon (although the heat was not... I'm looking forward to wearing this in the fall when it isn't quite as hot). For this photoshoot, we lucked out and found this amazing courtyard with witch labyrinth-y stuff and an awesome fountain. And of course, the absolutely stupendous =xinstrumental took pictures, and I am so happy with them. In this picture specifically, you can see the beautiful Soul Gem that ~SkylitEyed and Tara made me. -------------------------------------------------------- Mami Tomoe - Photoby
It is a very clean and well designed cosplay of Mami Tomoe from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. You can tell that you took your time and researched her before making this cosplay. I also like how the background has been muted so that the cosplay 'pops' out at you.
It is interesting how you are holding the Soul Gem as if you may be offering it as a gift. It is a very playful and kawaii how you are just smiling and looking at us while holding it.
The only 'bad' thing I can say is about your position on the bench. We tend to always look the the right side of picture normally. Shifting over to the right side may have been a better choice. Because of this, our eyes tend to wonder to the right side and go down the path away from you. You don't want your viewers to wonder from the subject.
There's just one thing I'll nitpick though and that's they eyes being under lit. It would make the shot stand out more. Also, is that fraying or stray wig hairs on the edge of your collar?

Best of luck on the contest!
